Founded in 1990, Bolt from the Blue features an eight piece band, comprising of a vocalist, full-time studio-level musicians and a fabulous horn section. We are all highly accomplished in our own fields and are passionate about the music that we play – whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism to make your day (or night) a memorable one.
We are an old-school Rhythm & Blues Band – playing classic Rock and Soul and Jump 'n' Jive. We all partied hard during those times, so we have the age and experience to put genuine feeling into it. We are specialists in our field of supplying live music entertainment for weddings, private parties and corporate functions. We are a seven piece band based throughout Oxfordshire covering the eastern Home Counties including Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire – although for the right price we can travel further afield!
Generally we will play two sets of one hour each, and can provide incidental music on CD during the interim period to keep the party going or if you prefer a live DJ to keep the party going.
